Very cool. How do you dispatch them? A .22? What do you bait them with I've heard chickens, is that true?

Gutpile
I used a 22. I did not use any bait just a long distance call lure outside the trap, a food lure on a stick in the back of the trap, a bird wing hanging in the back of the trap and a few feathers on the floor of the trap. If you use feathers or a wing make sure the trap is covered up good so the feathers can not be seen from above(sight exposed bait).

What are the dimensions of your trap? I feel like my traps are to small.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

The size of the trap is 12x18x36 from what I have read and learnered the width doesn't matter that much but you want it to be at least 18 inches high. But I hear of a lot of cats getting caught in smaller traps every year. I also really like to gillatine style door on these traps.

I have heard that bobcats can't resist urinating on coyote sh*t and therefore you can use coyote sh*t as bait. It sounds completely far fetched to me, but I was curious if anyone else had heard this.
